After having been drawn down a road that wasn't bookkeeping for a large part of last year (websites and auctions), building work catastrophes that the Chuckle Brothers would have been proud of (hammers & glass, I'll say no more!) and daughters buying houses, I've now made it back to this madness. Still trying to use the word 'no' when it's not what I want to do and I've learnt lots about setting boundaries due to clients acting like ostriches.
My client base has grown to 15 and I'm meeting another prospective client tomorrow :)
I'm probably not going to be a 'big poster' but it's great to know there's support out there and I might even be able to help someone if the right question comes up! Reading some of the threads definitely brings a smile to my face and often a full laugh out loud - think we're all as mad as each other
I'm a bit late to the drinks avatars but if you like gin this one is fab...and it is nearly Friday
Cheers everyone

Its never too late to join the drinks avatar and you certainly do not have to wait until Friday before having one (I never do)
Always good to have someone else to contribute on the forum.
Glad to see your client base is growing and from the way your post reads it seems that you are glad to be back in the profession and enjoying it, which is half the battle.
Good luck
