Trying to verify sub-contractors

Hi all

I have been trying on the HMRC CIS for agents to verify a sub-contractor for ages now but it keeps coming back with that 'there is a problem with the service please try again later' has anyone else had this?

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

Hi Joanne

Not sure about the other services but CIS definitely causing problems just tried to submit 2 different returns and neither went through with the same message showing as I got when trying to verify earlier.

Ended up phoning the online services and they said there was some problems, got a case reference off them and sent an email with a screenshot, wanted to get them submitted before the weekend but that does not look like happening

Roll on MTD biggrin
