Hi Everyone,

I'm a newbie to the forum and wanted to introduce myself, I'm Gary.

Currently studying AAT Level 4, planning to move on to ACCA once complete.

AATQB - in the process of putting together my Bookkeeping License application as i plan to offer services as a side business.

I've been looking around the forum and there are tonnes of information and advice which i'll be taking on board.

Thank You

G

Hi Gary
You arent too far from my neck of the woods.

Hows level 4 going? Do you get support at work? What is your work background?

Hope you enjoy the forum.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

Thanks Guys,

Level 4 going well thanks Joanne, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Work provides great study support and have already said they'd be happy for me to continue to ACCA after completion.

I work in the finance dept of an e commerce firm, I have only very brief experience in practice from doing work experience for a local accounts office years ago. I would love to get some up to date experience in practice, maybe some voluntary weekend work. I've reached out to accountants/bookkeepers locally so fingers crossed something will work out.
