Hi Shoncee
Look up 'mid year start' and CIS in their help files.

Care that you get the payroll references from the old software and use the same. When I say references I mean for the staff - dinner is calling and I cannot actually recall what they are called!

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

Hi Shoncee

Assuming you mean CIS submissions, you can't link it to previous ones no, but it doesn't really matter.

If employees then, as Joanne says, its a mid year start which is in tools. Get previous payroll bod to send you previous data.  Make sure that the employee number matches exactly otherwise HMRC have a tendency to duplicate the employees on their system.

To submit to HMRC for CIS go to CIS tab then monthly return CIS 300.  If it will let you do a FPS submission you click on the lightening tab which will appear when one is due and will say there are returns due  which will appear at top of page under name and submit.
