Handy hint to view clients in new ASA, once you have transferred them over from your old agent account.
HMRC do not list client names, only their VAT numbers (barking mad!). But you can still view your clients relativeley easily.
If you have one client to view - use their VAT number
1) Account home ---> Manage your clients VAT details (opens in a new window or tab) ---> add the particular client's VAT number ---> confirm details and continue this will then show details = client name and VAT number). Once here you can also choose from another 3 options to view submitted returns/change VAT details/view VAT certificate.
Better still - view a list of all clients via
Account home ---> Manage Account ---> Manage user access to your agent services account (opens in a new window or tab) ---> Clients
This shows just a list of VAT number, but gives you the opportunity to add a reference. I have added the customer name in this reference section. You are restricted to 9 characters but a short name is better than none. Worth spending time over a brew to sort this one out.

Silly season started for me in October this year. I'll say this quietly...I'VE ONLY GOT ONE (private clients) TAX RETURN LEFT TO DO How did that happen!!
Hope your son enjoyed the celebrating as much as you. Was it a significant birthday or an 'every birthday needs to be celebrated properly year'? My daughter was 30 in the summer...I'm just about over the shock and the girls holiday in November for sun and sangria was the perfect way to celebrate :)

My son was 30. We clearly had em young! Sounds like you had fun for your daughter's.
