In these difficult times have you considered applying for one of the many positions at any of the supermarkets or similar?

I know this might sound random/crazy or something else, but if your business has shrunk so much that you can see you will be struggling soon or are already, seriously consider one of these roles in the short term. It is critical that folk fill these roles and jobs are going at all of the major chains, plus the likes of Kelloggs (and similar up and down the country).   They are constantly crying out on social media for folk.

Alternatively if you are a bit flush with funds but it has gone quiet (lucky you!) then consider this

There are also a raft of other folk needed, Ive seen adverts for electricians, catering staff etc - so please pass on to anyone who can help.  Check your local NHS website. Here is an eg in Wigan https://www.wigantoday.net/health/coronavirus/covid-19-wigans-nhs-trust-appeals-volunteers-support-its-fight-against-coronavirus-2515623

All supermarkets are recruiting heavily, and I expect the parcel people are too.  One of my clients has just landed a job delivering for Amazon £130 a day (own van)

Was chuffed to bits that the NHS has received applications from 1/2 million people, way past their expectations.

And accountex this year is now hospitalex.  I was impressed with that too.

Bloody City's ground has been offered - am hoping ManU open theirs....just in case I need it!

Seriously - its very impressive.  Showcasing this country at its best, despite being at its worst!
