Just spent AN AGE getting through to HMRC. Lovely helpful member of staff, deals with one part of Q - goes to refer other half, puts phone on hold - phone went dead!!!
FFS.
Of course, now they are shut!!!!!!!!
So bloody frustrating.

I do feel for HMRC staff. Millions of customers, technical questions to answer, sometimes very long winded queries. They must know that every caller they get has been waiting for ages too. It cant be a pleasant job.
Saying that, Ive been inspected by HMRC a couple of times and some of their agents are particularly sneaky!
