Hi There

Im not sure if this is possible, on Sage, a sales invoice can be raised on an account named say "cash" or "trade", and then the details added within the invoice for individual customers so that new customer accounts arent opened for a one off sale - is this possible in Xero?  The address can be changed, but that then changes all the previous invoice details

Thanks

I did, the new address amended any previous invoices on that account To be honest, for the sake of typing a new name in you would be typing the same information in anyway thinking about it

Hi Chris

If its cash or trade does it need an address?  If it does is there an option to add a note to the invoice for you to put the address.

Hi

There is, but again it is within the contact information of that sales account, there doesnt seem to be a way to amend an individual invoice without it adjusting all the other invoices on that account

Can't you set up a customer called 'cash' and use that for all of the invoices you want to create, and then put the actual customers name (if required) in the notes section of each invoice that you create?
