Student Licenses for Bookkeeping / Accountancy software : Xero / QuickBooks / etc
Permalink Closed

Hi there,

Do any of the mainstream suppliers of accountancy/bookkeeping software offer student licenses ?

I'm just on a chat with quickbooks now... but I seem to be confusing the support person with my suggestion of  Student License.

(QuickBooks apparently don't have student licenses -- you have to pay £5 per month  or  £54 per year  for a sole trader license)

(Xero don't have student licenses either.   There's just a 30 days free trial offer but nothing to seduce students)

(Sage has student editions for their 50, 300 and 100 software models --

but... these are desktop installations and they assume you have a windows operating system,

so if you happen to have a Mac or linux, you're out of luck ... I'm out of luck)

Thanks to anyone that replies
