Hi all Is it possible to buy something as an asset in one financial year but only put it through in the next financial year. I thought the answer would be no as you have to show it as per tax point, but it wouldn't be the first time I've been wrong.

Employee leaving and owed holiday pay

I have a client who has an employee leaving at the end of this week. They have 47 hours holiday due to them, do I pay this all in one week? so their usual wages plus all holiday owed to them? I imagine they will pay more tax and ni this way? I'm not sure of the actual proper way to do this? Thanks Rachel

If you have deregistered for VAT as you think that in the next 12 months your turnover will be under £77000, but say if in 10 months time your turnover is better than expected and have to reregister. The question is would I then have to backdate any VAT due back to when I de-registered??
