PAYE dashboard showing incorrect figures
Permalink Closed

I have a couple of clients who appear to have a few random numbers on their PAYE dashboard ie the numbers appearing online are not the numbers I submitted on their FPS.  I have spoken to HMRC about them several times over the last few months (mainly because they started to write letters saying they wanted the few thousand extra they thought they were missing!) and have not had any definitive answers.  I have seen other people post about the same problem on other websites so it must be a known problem.  Today however I have just spoken to a gentleman at HMRC who has told me HMRC are advising people not to look at the dashboard as there are a lot of problems with it.  Their IT department are looking into it and hope to have it fixed by year end but they don't know if it will be.  Finally an admission that something is wrong!

Most comments from agents are that client's are much better able to manage their PAYE liabilities because they have access to the dashboard information. It is therefore disappointing that the Revenue only hope to have it fixed in a few weeks time if that. Let's hope this is because they are expanding the functionality of the Agent page to include Dashboard information.

Thanks for posting.

It gets worse. I have had a few emails in the last few days saying P9s have been issued but when I go to the website there's nothing there. Then today all of a sudden all of the notices for the whole of the year are listed under recent notices. What's going on?!

I got caught out by that for one client. It told me 10 P9s had been issued. Clicked on the link - nothing. Then realised I had to change the year to next year.

I know that for most of my clients they will never visit this Dashboard. Yet it isn't available for Agents.

HMRC - get yer finger out.
