Non-paying clients

I put 15 days terms on my invoices and then if they haven't paid after a month I send a statement. I now have a few that haven't paid despite receiving a statement so after another week I have sent an email asking for the money. No luck in one case. I'm hacked off because this one in particular is a big invo...

Hi all, One of my clients has purchased items for the business from her own money and I usually post them to a supplier account and then repay her as a normal supplier. Due to cash flow issues at the moment, the business will not be repaying her for a while so I thought I would post the expenses to her DLA ins...

Hi I have a client who has been self-employed for years and started renting out their house in 2010, they have not declared this on the previous 2 years tax returns 10/11 and 11/12. Is it possible to include it all in this years return 2012/13 or do they have to write to HMRC to tell them about it and send the...

I've taken on a new client and as I find out more and more it is going to be quite a task sorting everything out - but it is actually just the simpler things I am after. The client was in my class at school for several years (although that is going back over 30 years). The shop is just down the road from where I li...

tax credits again! (self employed)
(Preview)
Sorry girls and guys, Just to be sure on this form where it says income amount for period, they do mean the total income figure, i.e. just income. EG Income 20,000, expenses 5,000, therefore it would be correct to declare 20,000 as the income amount as per tax return and accounts. Many thanks Lor
