Has anyone heard of Universal Accounting?
Permalink Closed

Hi I'm looking to start a part-time business, and a friend suggested I look at book-keeping. I googled book-keeping and came across Universal Accounting. It looks interesting but is quite expensive at $2,000. Has anyone bought the course and is it suitable for the UK market?

Thanks

Helen

Hey Helen

Up until 2 years ago I was living and working in the US. I purchased the UA Course and found it pretty good (although it is expensive).

However, it was geared towards the US market i.e. IRS Forms, W-2's, W-3's, 1099's etc which you guys don't have in the UK. If you intend to start a bookkeeping business over here, I would look elsewhere personally.

If you need more info let me know.

Phil

Hi Phil

Thanks for your reply. Was tempted by the UA cource, but the price was a stumbling block. If it is geared towards the US, I will look elsewhere.

Many thanks though! smile

Helen
