More and more I'm finding that clients are contacting me using email rather than phoning. This is great except when I'm away from home picking up the kids, or on school trips, holidays etc etc.
Is there an easy way I can access email on the move that won't break the bank and let me open and send excel attachments? I've heard of a Blackberry but the techno stuff scares me to death!! I use a internet email account which I think is called a POP 3 account and that was bad enough to set up
I actually purchased a Blackberry a few months ago and it's a been an absolute god send. Its a breeze to use although I got my local Orange shop to set it up for me. The only downside is that although I can receive spreadsheets from clients it's not really that easy to edit on the move. I tend to upload the spreadsheet to my desktop and use it from there. For viewing client documents though it great.
