The Institute Of Certified Bookkeepers

I was just wondering if anyone out there, who is a member of the Institute Of Certified Bookkeepers, has ever been on the job vacancies section of their website?  I'm not a full member yet so don't have access to it.  I was wondering if there is ever many actual job vacancies on there?

Hi

I am a member of the ICB and there is so far 79 jobs listed, they cover a large area. They are also kept up to date, as I applied for one of the jobs listed and within 24hours of me applying and getting the job the vacancy was taken off.

There is a huge list of job vacancies, ranging from just one off assignments, part time to full time hours.  Some require either manual or computerised experience.  Both companies and accounting practices advertise their vacancies.  However, it all depends on where in the country you are !

All vacancies are per area such as Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside etc.,. You will find some areas have many positions whilst others just one or none.

I have seen many vacancies which would be ideal for me, unfortunately, they have been well outside my area,  but  I visit the site regularly just in case !
