I hope someone can help me with a problem with Sage Instant accounts. I am using an old copy of Sage for ICB practice etc and no longer have Sage support.
The problem is that I left Sage running and the computer shut down and now Sage will not let me gain access as it says username in use. I have had this problem in the past and I know you have to go in and delete a file by going into C-file on your computer and opening up the Sage files and then deleting the offend file, but I can not remember which one, if anyone knows how to do this then it would be of great help as I'm nearly finished on a level 2 computing on ICB practice exam. I can always uninstall and reload but I would loose all my data.
I'm using Sage 50 but whenever this happens to me and I get the message the username is already in use, I also get the option just below it saying 'Do I want to remove this user from the request list and login again?'. I always click yes and then there's another warning about data loss etc, but if you press yes to confirm you should be logged out. Sage will close but when you double click on the Sage icon again it should let you back in.
This is on Sage 50 though so not 100% it will be the same on Instant.
Hope this makes sense
Dustin

Thanks for the reply, Sage Instant doesn't let you do this. However I have now sorted the issue, you have to access Sage files via C: drive and then go into "accadata" then delete the "que.data file".
