I have just passed level 1 and level 2 (comp) of the ICB, I know I can now apply for AICB and a practicing certificate but i am considering taking level 3 (comp) has anyone done this and if so is it a lot harder than level 1 & 2, I got distinction in both the first 2 levels, and I have got lots of experience over the years. Would level 3 benefit me if i am self-employed bookkeeper. Also has anyone done the Small Business Financial Control again is it worth doing.
yes it is a lot harder in the respect of deprication and allocation of profit etc with patnerships. I would advise doing the manual level 3 with the ICB. This will give you a better insight into the complexities of level 3 comp.
Like all exams though tak your time and think about the questions.Get a mock paper from the ICB and you will get a feel of the exam and what it covers
