Looking for new clients!!!
Permalink Closed

Hi,

Can anyone advise me on the best place to look for new clients?  I have been lucky to find a few clients through word of mouth but I need to find a few more if my new start in the world as a self employed bookkeeper is to succeed financially.

I have tried gumtree.com but most of the vacancies are full time.

I am ACCA qualified if that makes any difference but have yet to apply for a practicing certificate.

Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

Lisa

Using a telemarketing firm is often a quick way to drive clients to your bookkeeping business. Try searching on the net for Telemarketing services for accountants or bookkeepers, or check out a company like Manser Business Services for an example of the services a telemarketing company can offer.

As an ACCA member you can only offer audit, accountancy and tax services to clients if you hold an up to date practicing certificate. Without a certificate you are barred from offering anything other than basic book-keeping services (anything up to trial balance). See the following link for further info: http://www.accaglobal.com/members/professionalstandards/prac_info/

All the best
