Printing a trial balane on Sage

Hi everyone smile

I have just performed the year end routine on Sage Line 50 for my client and I forgot to print off a Trial Balance and nominal ledger before hand. I need to forward printouts of the Sage records to the accountant but I can'
t print a trial balance report as the year has been rolled forward. I can print off a report of balances brought forward but this doesnt include a breakdown of profit and loss expenses in the year.

Can anyone please let me know if theres a way of printing the trial balance covering the previous year? I'm starting to panic a bit now!cry

Thanks.

Linda

Hi Linda,

Don`t panic - Hopefully you have taken a back up before starting year end ! if so, just restore and then print out what you need.

Hi Julie

Thanks for the suggestion, it worked perfectly! Thank goodness I took a backup! So nice to have a place to ask for help!

A very relieved Linda smile

I take a back up of sage every morning, so if something goes wrong at least I know that I can restore back to this point, This is very important - its good that you have raised this point. Also before doing anything major on sage like a year end I normally take 2 back ups to be on the safe side.
