Microsoft Accounting Professional 2008 - where to start?

I am currently setting myself up as a self employed book keeper.

After reading lots of reviews of different software on here, I have purchased the Microsoft Accounting Professional 2008.  I have just been on and had a little play around with it but I am struggling to use it.  I have looked on Ebay and Amazon and can't find a help manual for this program.

Does anyone else use it, how did you work out how to do the different functions?  For a practice, I put in my own Company details and tried to add an expense that I had received and paid and I couldn't work out how to do it which suprised me as I am usually good with computer programs.

Does anyone have any advice for me?

Terri

Only the express version is free, the professional version costs around £150.

There is loads of helpful tips on using the software on the website - msofficeaccounting.co.uk, under the tab - training. There is an overview and then a task based training section. It looks like a good place to start before looking to pay for books.

Hope this helps you out a little.

As I understand it the Professional version is provided free to those that join the Microsoft Professional Accountants' Network - link as provided by Wesker.

Express version is free to anyone, without joining the network.
