Computerised Accounts

Hi Everyone,

I am new to all this and i am on the final stretch of my AAT qualification level 4.  After completed i am wanting to start my own bookkeeping business from home.

I have been looking at the bookkeeping software, Quickbooks but was wondering how this works when you have so many clients on your books.  I work also as an accounts assistant and use sage line 50 daily but this is used obviously on for the company accounts and not multiple companies.

Can anyone tell me how it works in holding information for so many different accounts.  May sound strange a strange question but hope someone can answer it.

Many thanks

Lizzy

Hi Lizzie - welcome!

You might want to look at my previous posting for VT software which  I posted earlier.

Hope this helps.

Hi Lizzy

I think I am right in saying you purchase a number of licences via Sage. Either 5, 10 or 25.

This was something I wondered about, but when I spoke to someone at Sage this is what he told me.

If you purchase it through the Bookkeepers Club (something like that) it is a lot cheaper than buying it from the Sage website

I think it's worth a mention that we have an exclusive partner offer from e-conomic online software, since you might like to save your money.

A good option to have on board as it's free to use for your own accounts and no club fees, or even access fees for accountants and bookkeepers.
