I did the AAT ABC through BPP. Visit there site at www.bpp.com for details of how to book an assessment at one of their centres. The exam is computer based and wasn't too difficult.

Best of luck!

Debbie

Hi All

I have just ordered the AAT ABC Bookkeeping home study package from BBP Learning Media - it should arrive next week!!

How have you found it?

I have been working at an Accountants for 10 years now, started as Office Junior, progresed to completing VAT's on a self-designed Excel Spreadsheet and have now taken on completing Payrolls using SAGE Payroll Software.

The company has recently started introducing me to Sage Line 50 where I am beginning to learn about double entry but I have more or less been thrown in the deep end with no proper training!

So I started looking into getting my own training in bookkeeping which is why I have ordered this package!  I am thinking about eventually changing jobs and getting a job within a new firm specifically as a bookkeeper with the possible view of becoming self-employed when I have gained more experiance and hopefully more qualifications.

My life is pretty hectic so was just wondering how much time people commit to these home taught packages and if they provide all the information needed to learn with confidence.

Thanks in advance

biggrin
