Hello all

i am new to this forum but i need some help ok here is my question.

ok i am going through a vat audit at the moment but i am away to put my company into adminastration but i am waiting for £11,000 back from my vat return when i close my company will i still get this money please let me know you can email me austin@auzzoffice.co.uk or just post a comment please help it is urgent thanks

Hi

I am assuming you don't have an accountant to ask?

Would advise you post same thread on UK business forum, just google it. This has many helpful accountants who reply to threads.

If you are a limited company then any refund belongs to the comapny and will have to be paid into the company bank account. What happens to it then is up to the administrators. If you put the company into administration then they will take control of everything, including the bank account.
Don't even consider going into administration until you have talked to an insolvency practioner who is licensed to act.
There may well be other ways around this drastic action.
