Hi,
I passed level 2 in March and just want some feedback as whether to complete level 3 or not? If so, which is the best study package ( distance learning only)...I've done so much searching online, hmm I need some advice please!

HI

I purchased the level 3 back in September 2007, not relising that I needed the others first so have not yet properly started this yet. I sent 2 papers in and had returned from Ideal School tutor which has pointed out what is right and where I have gone wrong.

At the time I bought this it was £149. It is currently £199

I also bought Business Accounting by David Cox

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Business-Accounts-Accounting-Finance-David/dp/1872962637/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1243944055&sr=8-1

and I find with the two combined - the course work and the business accounts book it makes it understandable and don't need to actually go to a actual college course. The tutor when you return the coursework assignment (not towards grade just to work through to make you exam ready) they will give you detailed report of what is right and if anything wrong with your answers.)

I have not got very far with mine and probably miss the deadline with Ideal Schools as it is 2 year deadline for the tutor support, but the coursework packs are mine I just won't get the tutor support so it is possible still for me, opened a business with several different parts so very hectic for me to find anytime.

Good Luck with your studies.

It may be that you could just purchase the coursework parts of the Level 3 without the tutor support (I know I was offered this for the level 2 but did not need that myself) which may be cheaper.

I would also add that it would be worthwhile purchasing the a past paper for level 3 just to see what is involved. Also, Business Accouting book is excellent, these two combined may be all you need to get through this exam and having to sign up to any college / distance learning school.
