Postcards to Small Businesses
Permalink Closed

Hi,

I'm thinking about having some postcards designed and printed to send out to small local businesses in order to promote my services and set the ball rolling to attract new clients.

My questions are really if anyone has tried this before and was it sucessful?  Also other than vistaprint where the prices seem really good, is there any other printers anyone has had any good experiences with (or bad)?

I've used printing.com for postcards before and was pleased with the quality and price. Uploading my logo to their site wasn't as easy as it could have been, but their designers did a good job.

I sent out over 3000 postcards (I used some local paperboys), had just under 40 enquires and managed to pick up 6 new clients. Of the 40 I'd say most were just fishing for a cheap quote, so I was pretty pleased with the result.

You had a good response to your postcards. I hope that you dont mind me asking but how did you pick who you posted them to. Did you mail door to door or pick out small businesses?

Kris

I use Vistaprint too, I have always been happy with my products
