Payroll - Charges ?
Permalink Closed

Hi Everyone,

Could one of you kind folk advise me on what to charge for payroll.  Is it best to charge per employee and if so - roughly what would be a reasonable cost to charge.

Any advice, greatly appreciated.

Julie

HI

I found charging my hourly rate (charge per quarter hour) works well for me. If they want fancy payroll paper then that is extra if just normal A4 that is free.

I know many charge per payslip/employee ranging from £1 - £5 I have seen when I researched this.

Hi Julie,

This is something I am planning to offer very soon. To fit in with my fixed fees system I plan to offer a simple flat rate of £3 per employee, per pay slip.

Thanks Alison & Kris,

Im just doing a bit of research on behalf of friend - they currently use a payroll bureau who have been charging them £100 per quarter to do payroll for 5 employees then an extra £150 at the end of year for PD11`s etc.,

Im a long way off offering this service, just doing a bit of additional research myself.

Thanks again for your replies.

Julie
