Hello all, may sound daft re: the above. But I'm not 100% sure, I have been given a receipt from a self employed client. Would that count as first aid as an expense or should it be disallowed altogether.
I agree it's not first aid, but I was thinking maybe you would see it in a medicine cabinet, but then he is self employed, and doesn't own any premises for business so then it's really an item for personal use.
I won't be putting that through the accounts then!

If the client in question is a professional singer or singing coach then I would consider putting it through. After all, it is to support their job! It is a grey area and I expect some comments on this but, as I said, it depends on their employment!
