hey guys
I did my manual level 2 today and I am devasted!!!!!I was running out of time at the end and just quickly rushed the trial balance and it didnt balance!!I didnt have time to check it or anything so does that mean I def failed???everything else went perfect and Im convinced it was all spot on!!but time ran out!!if i had another 5 mins Im convinced I would have had a 100% but because of the trial balance does this mean Im doomed!!.thanks for any replies and already planning on taking it again in February so took too much time making sure it was all perfect!!

HI

I would say don't worry about it until you get your results.

I took this exam in February 08. Had not taken an exam for many many years and panicked as soon as I went in the room and literally felt like I forgot everything I knew about most basic bookkeeping. I spent so much time panicking and too was running out of time. I was convinced I had failed but was surprised to have got a pass (not as high as I had wanted 70%) but good as I was convinced I had failed.

Hi Ethan,

As Alison suggested wait for the results before you worry to much, most trial balances on exams would not balance, any way they should mark individual entries on the TB, I m sure you ll be okay, Let as know how u did when u have the results.

G luck

Hi EthanP,

Let me tell you that I sat for level 2 and 3 on the same day on 14 this month. I can assure you that you have passed as you only need 60% in every question to pass.

As you mentioned that apart from the last question you have answered everything spot on, you would need only 60% in the last question to pass. If the trial balance didn't balanced and the other workings were correct you will still easily get more than 60% and that means your final score will be around (85%-95%). I wish you luck for level 3.

Cheers!!
