What type of online training would you suggest??
I don't have much experience in the field, but am working as a bookkeeper for a entrepreneurial company. I need online training so I can get faster at what I am already doing. I will take any advice anyone has...

Hi Kendra,
Welcome to the forum.

I don't know about on line training, but people on here are very friendly and you can ask plenty of questions. See if they do a computer/SAGE course say one evening a week at a local college. Quickbooks is very similar to SAGE. Sage I would say is slightly more popular. They both in principle do the saem thing.

I am a fan of quickbooks and use Pro2008, feel free to ask questions about it. I also work for someone thats on a Quickbooks basic package that is a few years old, which is slightly different to mine. What version of QB are you on?

If you want to get trained up as a bookkeeper then there are long distance courses that you can take, it depends what you want to do. I'm sure some one on here will advise about the ICB etc, if thats the route you want to take.

Hope that helps.
A

Hi Kendra and welcome

Not sure what on line training you require but I notice from your website you are based in Canada

You might want to get in touch with a local bookkeeping association for specific advice on issues relevant to your area. I have found one that might be useful based in Ontario -  The Canadian Bookkeepers Association

http://www.canadianbookkeepersassociation.com

There are others too.

As Amanda says, if you have any standard bookkeeping queries, feel free to ask

Bill
