Terms of Engagement
Permalink Closed

Hi everyone,
I am just starting out on setting myself as a book-keeper. I am a Chartered Accountant but its been a while since I did bookkeeping. But I hope its like riding a bike .  :)

I have managed to get a client who wants me to do some book keeping for them.
I am looking to see if there is a basic terms of engagement that I can use and issue. Please could you help me on this and point me to a simple one. I know the ICAEW have one but it looks so complicated for my client who barely gets £60k a year. Help!

Hi,
Many thanks for this. This is exactly what I needed. I know its simple and straight to the point. But sometimes this is a good starting point. Thanks again.

That Post above wasn't put by me, sorry, someone has posted pretending to be me. I know who it was. Sorry about that Newby! I had left my pc logged on to this forum and a friend thought it would be funny, I shouldn't leave myself logged in again.
