I've got no transactions to report for the period the form covers, should I send it back blank? It does say not to fill it in but it also says I'll get fined if I send it back late!!
Stupid question I know but its early and my brains still asleep!!
It use to say on the old type of Sales list (the form was slightly different this time), that if there are none you do not need to send it back. What I've done in the past is actually write 'none' on it in pencil and gave it back to my client for him to keep, and then we give the accountant copies at the end of the year.
Dare I say have you tried phoning HMRC just to confirm that you don't need to send it back at all with no Sales. I know the form was slightly different this time and because we had sales I didn't actually read all of the information overleaf.
I would just check just to make sure unless theres anyone else on here that can say otherwise.
I will not be sending it back as no EC sales. It does say on the form if no transactions do not return. Just keep a note on the form and I think that will be fine.
