Right I am being an absolute thickett but I can't see how to send someone a message or how to read mine!! How do I do it?

I would also clarify that the title of my thread relates to private messages and not a gynaecological cry for help smile

Go to 'user details' and edit your profile to include an email address. I think that's why I have mine on here.

I got an email through but its not like the PM's you have on other sites is it, I was expecting some sort of internal system.

There used to be a PM facility but for some reason it has been removed

Hi Bill,

I think it was because displayed messages ceased to have any meaning as sometimes public messages were posted answering private correspondence and some threads would disappear so the usual audience that we have was unable to gain anything from reading the threads.

I actually agree with the site moderator that PM's are a bad thing for a public site as when they are used cannot really be policed.
