What a cheek!! Someone has nicked my business name (well almost). They have called themselves nifty0800numbers.co.uk.

That would explain the phone call last week offering to buy my domain name. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Good job its nothing to do with bookkeeping.

Sorry just needed to let off steam.

you can register your name to protect against 'passing off', not sure whether the 0800 addition would be considered a consequential change though. Here's a link:

Thanks for the link Rob.

I probably would not have a claim anyway as its got the 0800 in the middle and its a completely different trade. Just overreacting. But useful to know anyway, thanks.
