Hi Stu

I am not able to recommend any books as all of my payroll learning was done in employment I would recommend that you try to enroll on some HMRC workshops (they are free) and I still find them very good. They won't go into all of the detail that you need but will give you a basic understanding and probably could be a good starting point.

Regards

Mark

Hi Stu

Go to http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/bst/advice-teams-area/map2.htm

and then choose the area of the country that you are in and hopefully there will be an office in your area offering courses.

Regards

Mark
