sage - cheques and bacs payments?
Permalink Closed

hi,

I have justed upgraded the accounts software in work to v16 of sage, due to we want to make it easier to pay suppliers by bacs and cheques ( to easliy print them off from sage)

after speaking to sage they advised me you have to pay 700 per year for support for their software, which in my opinion is awful!

just asking for any guidance on the use of bacs and cheques in sage and the best places to have order sage accepted cheques from?

thanks

james

hi

Sage are expensive in that regard and to be honest I think I have called them once in all the years I've been using the system. I am a member of their accountants club and use their payroll bureau and I pay alot less than that!

I do not print chqs off but do know you can get paper from most good suppliers although I do not know if this includes the personalised stuff you would require.

I find sage good in its compatibility with bank software for entering bulk payments.

Sorry can't be any more help.

P
