Is AAT the same as a HND in Accounting
Permalink Closed

Hello,

i was wondering if someone could help me?  I have done my HND Accounting a few years back now and was wanting to go on to the next step, but not the ACCA or CIMA.  Was thinking about doing the AAT course, but was worried that it may just be the equivalent of a HND, does anyone on here know if this is right?

Thanks

I think you can go on from AAT to do a foundation degree which is probably similar to a HND, the AAT gives you some accreditation towards a foundation degree so they are probably similar ish.
You need to call Kaplan really as they organise a degree utilising AAT through Essex university and will have some advice for you, albeit possibly biased.

Thats a list of unis who do the foundation degrees that will accept full AAT as accreditation and will know more about where you stand.

Or contact AAT direct it may be that you could go straight into the AAT at technician level.
