just a quick info post for anyone who hasn't realised the changes to the numbers at HMRC.
There is now a single dedicated line to HMRC for agents (previously there were 12 different numbers).
The new number is (0845) 366 7855 which covers PAYE & Self Assessment Queries.
There is however still a sperate agent priority line for tax credits (0845) 300 3943.
Sure that most of us knew this already but just in case, hope that it helps.

I think learning not to trust what your being told is passing the final test in bookkeeping!
This one support line may of course work against us as if we keep getting the same person answering we may keep getting the same answers to our questions!
Not suggesting here that there will only be one person answering the phone, but, with all the current HMRC cutbacks you just never know!!!

How are you? Are you qualified now? I got my both papers P1 and P3 as you adviced me to do both together. I have P2 and the optional papers to do. Can you please advice on the combination that is perfect for my remains papers?
