Which of the Sage  software options should I be looking at for the future to help with my business. There is Sage 50 and Sage 50 professional... I anticipate... hopefully to have a maximum of 10 clients at any one time.

Have you got your heart set on sage?  Personally I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.  They're overpriced for what they are.

Have a look at VT Transaction+, multiply companies as standard, and as cheap as sage instant accounts.

You can download it free and try it for up to 60 days before you commit to it.

Also have a look at quickbooks pro 2010, its allows unlimited companies and has multicurrency function which is a bonus.

I've demo one of the earlier versions of quickbooks and it seemed very easy to use.
