Hi

Can anyone help me as to how to send a quickbooks file to an accountant, as there is too much to print off and post!!

I can't seem to find the file once I save it.

Thanks
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Do you mean you are trying to send the whole Company File to the accountant?

When you save a file on a computer, you need to either see where it saves it or save it somewhere you know. How computer literate are you? I don't know QB so not sure what comes up when you want to save a file but it will give you the chance to BROWSE so that you can place the file where you want.

It is there, you just need to know where it is!

If the accountant also has Quickbooks, the easist way to do it is to send him/her a Portable copy. You do this by making a Portable copy in the backup area, save the file somewhere you can easily acess it to email and then send it as an attachment.
