Hi All,

My husband ssems to think he can claim 40per mile up to 10000 in a tax year.

He gets a car allowance of £3000 per year and is re-imbursed by work for the mileage he does plus a little extra.

The car is his own car.

Can he put a claim through with the HMRC at 40per mile??

Any advice would be appreciated.

"Cheap-Accountant" - just been on your website and thought I'd point out the formatting appears a bit wrong on the home page with the table of comparison fees.
Just the headings - it is obvious what it should be but it is annoying (to me) when the first thing that sticks out is the jumbledupness of the table. Maybe it looks ok on other browsers, just looks a bit weird on mine (IE8).

EDIT : By "obvious" I mean the rest of the table is understandable.
