Help! Wrong Sage 50 payroll version number!
Permalink Closed

Hi

I bought Sage 50 payroll 2010 off the Sage store this week, which is version 16.01 on the disk.

However, I have entered the activation code from the internet, and when I go into Help/about, the version number is now version 11.16.040.

Is this correct? I'm sure it should be version 16.xx.xxx

Thanks!

Chris

The SAGE Accounts software is all on the same disk and its the activation code / product key that determines the actual version you get access to. For example, I could have bought SAGE Accounts V16, but if I'd entered a V11 activation code, that's all I'd get access to.

This is the same with all SAGE software; the activation code determines what you actually get access to from the disk. Definitely contact SAGE as it sounds like you've got a V11 activation code.
