Pool cars are not subject to Benefits in kind as they are available for use by more than one person. The only difficulty you may encounter is where the vehicle is kept overnight.

If it is kept at the place of work then there should be no issues.

If it is taken home, then it gets tricky.

Several questions arise,

1) does the same person always take it home?
2) If kept at home, is it brought straight back to place of work 1st thing in the morning?
3) Does the person who takes it home have access to another car?

If unsure about the above, It would be best to speak to your accountant or the inland revenue for clarification.

there are ways round it if the vehicle is taken home, such as signed statements from employees saying it is not used for private use and they have another vehicle etc... but it can get messy.

hope that helps a bit.
