Has anyone done this course with them?
I'm thinking of doing it and am curious as to what format the course takes.

Their manual bookkeeping course has a chapter with Progress Test and then at the end there is an Assignment. Level III has nine chapters and nine assignments. Does the payroll course take this format? If it does how many assignments are there in total?

I might just do it at the same time as my bookkeeping course if it does take this format otherwise I'll wait until I have done the bookkeeping course.

Hi Peasie

Do you ever sleep?

The course is split into 2 sections, the first manual payroll, comprising eight assigments. This comes in a ring binder.

When you have successfully completed the manual section you are sent two spiral bound work books, one level II computerised with five marked assigments, the other level III computerised, with five marked assigments (they are actually for the IAB syllabus but the ICB is the same apparently). You also get a copy of Sage Payroll.

I did mine last year, so it may have changed since then.

I do sleep - just different hours from most people.

Thanks for your help - now that I what is involved I think I may just go ahead and order this. I'll do the manual assignments alongside my Level III bookkeeping course then if I haven't finished the bookkeeping course I'll just have to wait to do the Sage Payroll bit.
