Just started BA1 but haven't sat any exams yet. End of the day the basics are the basics whether its AAT, ICB, or IAB. In fact I post a while back on this forum how kaplan's ICB and AAT foundation level books were identical except for the covers and a little more theory in the AAT - but only a little.
I've also purchased the ATT basic costing book by kaplan and its pretty straight forward. A lot simpler, and thinner, than the CIMA foundation level management accounts text book.

I was wondering with the new AAT format whether it would be possible to complete both level 3 and 4 in one year, as you can sit the exams when you are ready and not have to wait till Dec and June.
Yeah you should be able to as the exams are quite frequent. Premier training hold them every day at their centre, I think kaplan bpp centres are at worst going to be running every month so yeah it's doable if you have the time to study.
just been looking at AAT and thought I'd do the skillcheck just to see - so it said I need to start at Level 2, and I have found out that Level 2 is the beginning! Hmmm, nit looking to join but not impressed at that system, they should just say start at Level 2. What is Level 1?

Has anyone started the new AAT qualification? Id be interested to know how people are getting on with the new qualification.
Thanks
Karen
Are you doing the new AAT qualification?
I am currently waiting for my level 2 course notes etc to appear through the post.

Would it be possible??
I'm hoping to crack level 2 and 3 by December/January, although my provider is trying to make it even harder by sending me the wrong modules!
I'm unsure if I've set my aims too high but with 3 months off work I will give it a shot. With the exams available more frequently now it should be do'able...in theory at least ?
