Hi ADAS, yes and thanks for asking, scored 96% so am well chuffed. Will be opening the single malt this evening biggrin

Right now I'm reading through Sage 50 Accounts Stage 3 workbooks and intend to take this final certification exam by middle of next week. Sat the Stage 2 exam two days ago, just want to get this last one out of the way now.

Then back on to the ICB exams. Have ordered a text book (Business Accounting 1 by Frank Wood etc), which should arrive early next week. I'll use that to swot ready for the ICB L3M exam, which I hope to take within a few weeks or so. By then I will also be ready for the L3C exam, so will take that about same time.

So, by end of October I hope to have passed all ICB exams up to L3, be able to apply for u/g from student member to MICB, get practice licence, MII, etc. Then start looking for business to start earning back some of the considerabe outlay on training (tax man won't like my first year accounts if they have all cost and no income). Having full Sage certification will help, I hope!

I expect I'll also have a look at ICB payroll and Self-Assessment to round things off. Also, as I live in a rural area, I might have a look at "Farm Accounts" - wonder if anyone has any experience of using it and can give me some insight into what that entails?

Regards,

Phil
