As anybody found out if you can do this new qualification without a learning provider, as all exams are now computer based. I have been trying to get in touch with the AAT, but having trouble cos there lines are always busy. Thanks for anybody who knows.
Hi James Thanks for your reply. I started doing AAT Level 3 with a learning provider, there study books are full of errors, and tutor support non existent, very expensive as well. Just thought as I was registered with the AAT I was considering doing this on my own and find a centre as an external candidate, as the new QCF framework does not have simulations anymore. Just wanted to get this qualification done as I have already wasted a huge amount on money, and know I am not going to pass with this learning provider.
The dreaded Home Learning College. I really wanted to complete this course, had set my heart on doing well, but the material is terrible, just wanted to try and do this on my own back and sit exams as an external candidate. Such a terrible mess.
Well if you are signed up for them then you'll have to stick with them.
Get the Osborne books they seem ok and some frank woods and get stuck in, book your own exams at a bpp or kaplan centre. All you will need your provider for is spredsheets assessment and one other (forget which one) but that is as yet undecided.
I'm doing it at home and haven't needed my provider yet so it's doable.
What does your user name mean or where is it from?
Every time I see the name I misread it and think of "Crianlarich" a village in Scotland. Reminds me of when I went clay pigeon shooting with my late grandfather.
Actually, I think I may have figured it out (if it is a joined up version of two shortened names - does that makes sense).

Hi Steve Thank you for your kind reply, I have purchased the new BPP books, so will do what you say and learn myself, I have no trouble learning at home. If I book the exams at BPP or Kaplan, do you know how much each exam will cost. Can always do some overtime at work.
