Certificate of Compliance for AML

Hi
I am looking at starting up my own business providing bookkeeping services, and I was wondering if I would need a cert of compliance for AML. Does anyone know?

Hi there,

Do you mean a certificate of compliance for Anti Money Laundering? If so, then yes, you need to be registered for Money Laundering. If you a member of a registered body (such as ICB or IAB) then you will be covered for this. If not, then you need to be registered with HMRC (currently £120 I think).
