Ok, quick question, I know I can use the phone, but this is really annoying.

Has anyone had any problems emailing either the AAT or ICB?

I have emailed them 2 each now and not even a confirmation email.

Kind of makes you lose heart in them!!

ICB likewise. It took a couple of weeks for them to reply to me recently.

I had a reply within 2 days from the ICB, then another to say they were still looking into a question I had. I have then had another saying they were now actioning it. It has taken a month so far, but they have kept me up to date with what's going on, so my own experience has been OK.

Hi Paul,

They aim to respond within 2-3 working days, depending on the query.

There has been a massive surge in calls and emails lately, I gather AAT are getting the same, so may take awhile.

However, I cannot find an email from you from a quick search, which department did you email?

Hi all,

Thanks for the replies,

James, it was sent to Info@ on the 31st August 2010 via my gmail account but should have merlionabs in the email address.

Sent one to the AAT on the same day so that's like 8 weeks ago heh heh.

I can re-send if need be.

Cheers

Paul.

Hi Paul,

Really sorry does not look like we received it. The oldest email is from the 1st and they have been contacted to say their request is being delt with.

Could you resend info@bookkeepers.org.uk and I will make sure someone deals with it today.

James

Have a look in the spam/ junk folder. I had some of my emails end up there, or so I was told when I chased up an answer to a query I had emailed (that was some time ago now)
