Error when posting wages journal
Permalink Closed

Hi all,

I've made a slight boob when doing the wages journal this morning.  I do the books for two companies and I've accidentally posted company A's wages figures into the journal of company B.  I have made the bank payment journal yet, it's literally just the figures for GW/NW etc.  Can anyone tell me how to fix this please??

Many thanks!

Hi

Post the same journal the wrong way round i.e reverse the debits and credits you posted in the first place

Then post the correct journal
