I have just received my Sage computerised accounts level one and I am looking to start a bookkeping business from home. Obviously I need further qualifications in order to do this.
Right at the top of the bookkeepers forum home page there is an advertisement from Bookcert who claim they can show you how to learn bookkeeping and set up a bookkeeping business from home with their Bookcert Business Kit.
I would like to know if anyone has actually been down this route. Would really appreciate your views.
Reza.

The people who sell bookcert own this forum. To be honest, if they would split the pack then it's worth the money. But if you know what you're doing with bookkeeping the first half wont be of much use. The second half focuses more on what you actually need to do to setup in business.
Its ok, but to be honest I would try to find a second hand copy rather than a new one. You should get it for about £100. I wouldn't pay any more than that.
The views expressed in this post are my own personal (HRA protected) views, and are not representative of any organisation I have any involvement with.
Thank you very much. I keep my eyes open for a used copy. The thing that attracted me to bookcert Business kit is what they mention about teaching what one needs to learn and know about producing and preparing what clients actually need.
